Monthly announcement - January

January has been really good for most of our punters and we are glad our service turn to be the way it used to be earlier, but it has always been and will always be ups and downs in this kind of business.

Special picks turned to be the hardest to predict this season and we are just happy that there were not a lot of clients lately. The reasons for that are explained in the rakas-specials.com article and I don't think it will become extremely profitable like we've used to see it last season as the situation with LKL and BBL clubs are different now. We are thinking of changing the website, but until then we are trying to pick only the best winners and to give less selections than we used to see. Something will be changed with the specials and we are solving the question now - what will be better.

Football picks has been really stable lately and I am glad our punters learned a lot during the last season and now they are hitting over 56% with ~8-10% of profit. It is now clear that January will be one of the best months so far and it is a perfect way to start the 2010!

NBA games has been really hard to predict lately even for our 3 punters, but still they are in a little plus at the moment and I believe they will finish this month profitable as there are still couple of days left until the start of February. Still, if the plus will not be high our customers will get another month for free until we reach the number we would all like to see, but in total I am satisfied with the way they are working as the main thing here is stability - not to reach big minus in any of the months.

European basketball picks. All I can say is that everything is in old good days now. After we've been in a miserable place couple of times last year we are now turning to the same profitable service we've used to be earlier and the winner simply keep going. We still have 3 picks for today while I am writing this post and I never felt more confident about my picks for my well known leagues than I do now. We've reached 123 units yesterday for a single month and I know we will finish with even more units after today. It has been hard in 2009.08 and 2009.09 where the Eurobasket was very negative and it has been hard to build up that confidence back, but little by little we've earned all units back for our members and this January was simply amazing. I believe we will continue that way during February and March as we are on a good wave at the moment which should not settle down when the matches become more and more important and has more logics usually.

All in all, the January, 2009 has been only good and I hope our punters and me will manage to keep this way all through the next months.
